As an undergraduate at MIT, Norm Wright was the lead developer of the Student Accounts Receivable module that generated bills and collected tuition for the Institute. For the next 30 years he forged a career consulting to numerous Higher Ed institutions. This experience has given him a deep understanding of the complexities, nuances and richness of it’s data and systems. As part of DxTera he has developed several projects linking together data from multiple community colleges and school systems. Early in his career he focused on learning how to communicate deep technical concepts and translate them into terms understandable to non-technical business users. He is comfortable in many roles, switching between that of architect, business analyst, trainer and hard core developer.
