DXtera co-founder and President, Dale Allen, was asked to join the prestigious Broadband Commission Data for Learning Working Group. Dr. Allen will engage the members of the ESAA and OAD communities to expand the involvement of our network in this international working group.
Select leaders, organizations, and experts were hand-selected to join in order to have critical conversations regarding data ecosystems, skills, ethics, governance, and learner rights in increasingly digital educational landscapes. Member expertise will take place in a working group setting in order to help frame a report about the challenges, opportunities, resources, and initiatives related to data for learning.
The Broadband Commission Working Group on “Data for Learning” will be positioned as a key consultation group and provider of advisory and advocacy guidance for the international community dialogue on data for education and training recovery, resilience, and future development with a specific focus on data for learning.
The group is led by Audrey Azoulay, Director-General, UNESCO, Co-Vice Chair of the Broadband Commission.
