Data Warehouse Integration
Providing the foundations for information delivery
This work track is focused on reporting and information delivery, focusing on key functionality and business areas. The Customer Proof of Concept (POC) projects are short-run discovery projects that are focused around working with a select group of customers to build out a set of models and/or functionality. At the conclusion of the POC we will have a report-back event with the membership to outline the new functionality, talk about lessons learned, and identify a release schedule.
Initial Customer POC: Course/Personnel (In Process)
We are currently working with the Community College of Southern New Hampshire and the University of Hawaii to build out multiple functional reporting areas around:
- Student and Academic History
- Course Management and Registration History
- Program Enrollment
- Academic Calendar
- Degrees/Credentials Awarded
- Instructor/Employee positions and appointments
Initial Customer POC: Financial Aid
We are currently working with the Community College of Southern New Hampshire to build out multiple functional reporting areas. One of the focus areas for them is providing functional reporting around financial aid, including:
- Financial Aid Offered
- Financial Aid Awarded/Accepted
- Financial Aid Award Catalog
Initial Customer POC: Open Slot
In Quarter 4 of 2020 and Quarter 1 of 20201 we have availability to begin new projects with members focusing around functionality to be defined by members. For these open slots we are looking for 1-2 institutions to work with.
DW/ODS Beta for Members
In Quarter 4 of 2020, prior to the full public availability of the DW/ODS service, we will be providing members with a demonstration as well as limited access to the testing instance.
DW/ODS Service Go-Live
In Quarter 1 of 2021 the Dxtera Data Warehouse and Operational Data Store offering will be generally available for members. This service will allow members to integrate data from their source systems into a reporting environment optimized for higher education reporting.
Initial Customer POC: Ontologies/Custom Hierarchies
This POC is focused on organizational management. Dxtera is tools for mapping and monitoring organizational hierarchies and to help ensure that all your various hierarchies and rollups are integrated and reliable.
Initial Customer POC: Data Warehouse Authorizations
DesThis POC is focused on providing a platform for integrating authorizations into your data solutions and will include administration tools for defining and managing authorizations, and integrating access control into other solutions
Initial Customer POC: Dxtera Data Hub

This POC is focused on leveraging the DXtera Operational Data Store to provide a central data hub to serve as the core of an integration deployment. In addition to being used by the data warehouse, the operational data store can serve as the central hub for integrating data across a variety of systems.
