A Look Back at DXtera’s Most Exciting Moments of 2019

As we wrap up the decade, DXtera’s mission to transform the way higher education does business is more relevant than ever. 2020 brings with it exciting new partnerships, our annual Symposium in Barcelona, and more demonstration projects that help our members to drive student success.

Here’s a look back at some of the exciting developments from DXtera’s 2019.

  • Website overhaul. With so many exciting updates to share with our community, we needed a website that is easy to navigate. We worked hard to make sure that all of the information members and prospects could need about our products, events, and collaborations are easy to find.
  • Publication of the Next-Generation Integration Scorecard (NGIS). The NGIS is an openly licensed instrument intended to help institutional consumers of enterprise systems and educational software to measure the readiness of candidate products to support the vision of next-generation environments.
  • Membership growth. Credential Engine, John N Gardner Institute, Georgia State University, and Boston College are just a few of the new members DXtera welcomed this year. This year eighteen new members joined the DXtera family, from the United States and Europe, and we can’t wait to welcome more members in 2020 and beyond.
  • Next Generation by Design (NGBD). The NGBD Symposium is an annual event that brings together education industry leaders and practitioners who are actively designing, developing, deploying and promoting next-generation software and systems to more effectively support student success. This year’s Symposium was a tremendous success, and we look forward to doing it again in 2020 (registration opens in January 2020 so keep an eye out).

Thank you for joining us on this journey. We can’t wait to see what exciting things our members do in 2020. If you have any questions about how you can become a member, fill out the form below and someone from our team will be in touch shortly.
